Blackstone Valley Heritage Homecoming Ecumenical Breakfast on Friday, October 5th

HOPEDALE - 21st Annual Rev. William Blackstone Ecumenical Breakfast, This year, the Breakfast will be located at the Unitarian Church at 65 Hopedale Street.

The Guest Speakers will be local historians, Daniel and Elaine Malloy, who will speak on the significance of the Underground Railroad in Hopedale. The Event will be sponsored by National Grid and the Blackstone Valley Heritage Homecoming Committee.

Tickets are $6.00 per person. For tickets, call Dick at 508-478-2642. Deadline for reservations is Wednesday, October 3, 2007

The ecumenical breakfast honors the Reverend William  Blackstone (1595-1675) the first European settler of the Blackstone River Valley. Blackstone Valley Heritage Homecoming is an early Autumn celebration now in its 21st season held in the eleven Massachusetts communities of the Blackstone River Valley. The nine day, two weekend heritage tourism celebration features harvest festivals,
historical tours, farming attractions and cultural events.

A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event. The breakfast is sponsored by the Blackstone Valley Heritage Homecoming Committee with the generous support of National Grid.
